Carara Rainforest Hike

Some species like mammals, birds, insects, trees, orchids, mammals and heliconias live in Carara. Most are native only to the Central Pacific Coast region.

Carara illustrates plant and animal species from both areas. This means there is a tremendous abundance of wildlife in this area.

It is in a transitional reserve zone: it is between the dry North Pacific Coast and the very moisten South Pacific Coast. Carara is located on the Central Pacific Coast, about thirty minutes North of Jaco.Close to Manuel Antonio Beach and Jaco Beach, there, you can accommodate in Jaco Blù Private Residences, this hiking tour and natural refuge adventure in a bio-diverse rainforest is tragically different in terms of wildlife and plant species than our other national park in Manuel Antonio.
